The Tender Care Hospice Pa. social-work team provides counseling and emotional/bereavement support. They can also assist with financial concerns and offer community resources.
We offer physical and speech therapy services to help with comfort measures This training includes how to use adaptive equipment, how to instruct caregivers and families on body mechanics for turning and lifting patients, and home safety.
We proudly offer dedicated Spiritual Care Coordinators to provide spiritual and emotional support to you and your family. Our coordinators are trained from an interfaith perspective, can assist with funeral/memorial arrangements and can work with community faith leaders on your behalf as needed.
Bereavement Services can include grief counseling, support groups/educational seminars and community resources. These services will continue for at least 13 months following the death of a loved one.
We utilize top-notch medical equipment and supplies. We also offer medication for pain and symptom control related to terminal illness.
Our aides provide personal care and light housekeeping, as well as emotional support for our residents and their families.
Our dedicated volunteers provide supportive visits, caregiver relief, light housekeeping and errands as needed.
